Project 1: Wooden Shelf
Materials needed:
- 2 wooden boards (size: 24" x 6")
- 2 wooden boards (size: 12" x 6")
- Wood glue
- Screws
- Drill
- Saw
Instructions:
- Using the saw, cut the wooden boards to the desired sizes.
- Apply wood glue to the edges of the wooden boards and press them together to form the shelf.
- Use screws to reinforce the shelf by screwing them into the bottom of the shelf.
- Allow the glue to dry and then sand the edges of the shelf to create a smooth finish.
Project 2: Wooden Picture Frame
Materials needed:
- 4 wooden boards (size: 12" x 8")
- Wood glue
- Screws
- Drill
- Saw
- Picture hanging kit
Instructions:
- Using the saw, cut the wooden boards to the desired sizes.
- Apply wood glue to the edges of the wooden boards and press them together to form the picture frame.
- Use screws to reinforce the picture frame by screwing them into the corners of the frame.
- Allow the glue to dry and then sand the edges of the frame to create a smooth finish.
- Attach the picture hanging kit to the back of the frame and hang your favorite picture!
Project 3: Wooden Bench
Materials needed:
- 4 wooden boards (size: 36" x 6")
- 2 wooden boards (size: 16" x 6")
- Wood glue
- Screws
- Drill
- Saw
Instructions:
- Using the saw, cut the wooden boards to the desired sizes.
- Attach the 16" x 6" boards to the ends of two of the 36" x 6" boards to form the legs of the bench using wood glue and screws.
- Attach the remaining 36" x 6" boards to the legs of the bench to form the seat using wood glue and screws.
- Allow the glue to dry and then sand the edges of the bench to create a smooth finish.
- Your wooden bench is now ready to use! You can add cushions or paint it to your liking.
